The Federation for a Sustainable Environment often leads tours to the mining region.
On 23 April 2014 Mariettte Liefferink led the tour of the West Rand Goldfields with the Auditor General’s Office of the Department of Water Affairs and senior managers.
A similar tour was attended by Rand Water on 9 May 2014
