The Federation for a Sustainable Environment has noted allegations made by Atha Africa Ventures’ CEO Praveer Tripathi, on his Twitter account.
The notice of withdrawal posted by Mr Tripathi on Twitter related to an internal appeal against the amendment of an environmental authorisation issued to Exxaro Coal Mpumalanga Pty Ltd. The appeal was based on a technical legal point with regards to which authority was competent to authorise that amendment.
The FSE did not accept anything in exchange for the withdrawal of the appeal.
