A Federation of environment groups is to investigate taking legal action against proposed laws that they say would grant property developers a “free-for-all” and leave the environment with little, if any, protection against them.

NGO’s action leads to a “first”
There is currently a paper being drafted which is believed will be for international distribution. The paper alleges that, with reference to the Wonderfonteinspruit Catchment, NGOs are active for the very first time in the history of mine water management in South Africa.
